Residency with the Oerknal Ensemble

I’m honored to have been named the first Composer-in-Residence of the Netherlands-based Oerknal Ensemble. The group will be presenting portrait concerts of my music in The Hague and Amsterdam on June 11th and 12th. The concerts will feature Descriptions of the Moon and My Hands Are Empty, as well as the premiere of a brand new piece commissioned for the occasion. The ensemble has also partnered with poet Amber-Helena Reisig, who will be reading new poems created in response to my music.

These performances will mark my European debut – I’m very excited about the opportunity. If you would like to help support Oerknal’s spring season, including the June concerts, please visit their Indiegogo page and consider donating to their fundraising campaign.
